Funny Onions Bistro, Crosby's Bar & Pool Room

Start the day the right way and enjoy one of our heart breakfasts, whether you are planning a day on the beach, sightseeing or are travelling onto your next stop we have something for everyone and pride ourselves on our extensive breakfast menu. We have regular specials on offer most recent being "Whitby Kippers and Poached Eggs".

We offer a very large selection of Continental items which are featured on our breakfast menu but in addition we like to cater for our foreign friends by putting out cold meats, continental cheeses and crisp breads.

We have introduced a Take-away menu which is designed for guests who perhaps want a little longer in bed or need to get on the road as soon as they get up. this is served between 8am and 10:30am.

We have just become members of "Deliciously Yorkshire Breakfast Scheme", which means we strive to offer as many different items sourced from local suppliers.

The newly furbished "Funny Onions Bistro" is open for evening meals between 5:30pm and 7:30pm, so why not enjoy an evening meal by candle light in our rustic French Style surroundings. Our Evening Meal Menu has a selection of dishes (including a Children's Menu) that offers good quality food all at reasonable prices. We have also introduced our Home-made Curry menu which is also available from 5:30pm.

We open the Bistro to non-residents for Breakfasts and Evening Meals. 

Crosby's Bar

Crosby's Bar named after a long serving member of staff, who has now retired, has now undergone a facelift and is the perfect place to meet up with friends and family or just enjoy a cosy drink. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome from your hosts - Andy & Hazel

 We are now pleased to be able to provide our guests with the use of our pool room which is open in conjunction with reception, we can also offer a selection of board games and dominoes.

As the games room is adjacent to Crosby's Bar why not enjoy a drink whilst playing pool.
